This means the strength, endurance, and stability to do everything you want to do. For some people, this means running a triathlon. For some people, this means putting your shoes on without sitting down.
We're here to help you achieve what's important to you.
We will start with a chat to see what your goals and limitations are. Then do a functional assessment (sounds hard, but isn't) to see how you're moving, where your weak and tight areas are. From there, we'll decide how to get you to your goal.
Personal Training is very different from working out in a gym. There is always a trainer with you. One-on-one, unless you choose semi-private or small-group training. This makes your workouts targeted specifically to you, taking into account any weak areas. The workouts are always at the appropriate intensity for you, no matter where you're starting from. Have movement problems? Lift this stick. Want to run Tough Mudder? Here, jump with this weight.
There is always something you can do to get stronger and better. No chance to hide in the back either! Your trainer will be there, watching, for your whole session. (Which sounds like it would be intimidating, but actually just gives you someone great to chat to.)
A typical person comes for workout with their trainer 2-3 times per week. This gives the best results.
With a trainer, your workout is planned for you, so you just need to show up and your trainer will know the appropriate weights and exercises for you. Its all done for you. Except the sweating, of course. And the workouts change frequently, often different every time, so its much more interesting and challenging than a traditional workout.
Our Personal Training is done in a small Personal Training studio (The Works Training Co.), so it is very private and welcoming. You can do this!
